Virtual Employment Program Network
VEP is the term first time in India introduced by SPARK Technomedia Pvt. Ltd., to expand companies
production network by creating opportunities inside educational institutions especially professional
campuses across the Nation. The term VEP is an acronym of ‘Virtual Employment Program’ and its
interconnected operational network is called VEP Network.
First Project of VEP Network was established in IES College of Engineering, the campus is located in Thrissur
District of Kerala State, India. This node is called VEP Network-Node 1 and launched under the Department of
Computer Science & Engineering was inaugurated by Dr M Abdul Rahman, Pro Vice Chancellor, APJ Abdul Kalam
Technological University (KTU), on 10 March 2017.
All VEP Nodes are connected its SPARK R&D Centers and the R&D Centers are managed by the VEP Team under the
supervision of VEP Nodal Officers.
The VEP Nodes targeting skill development of students, which is parallel to the professional education and this
will make the students become experts in their career. And Company directly giving real-time tasks to the VEP Network
Nodal Officers, in each R&D Centers to give opportunity for students to work with industry.
